15th Annual Veterans Legal Assistance Conference & Training

Designed for lawyers, law students, veterans, policymakers and other service professionals, this annual conference provides a forum for discussion of critical legal issues facing our veterans. The conference will include a training for pro bono lawyers, as well as training for non-attorney veterans interested in serving as mentors in Veterans Treatment Courts.

MCVRC is hosting a 5k and Resource Fair inviting many resources from around Maryland to come and showcase the resources they offer. We will also be inviting our families and community to learn about resources and come together in unity.

For the 5k, participants may walk or run for free. Timed run available.

The Breaking Barriers Awards Gala is DRM’s signature celebration where we honor visionary leaders who further the rights of Marylanders with disabilities. Funds raised go towards ensuring that Marylanders with disabilities, regardless of income, age or race, have access to critical legal services.

Litigation Evaluation Involving Allegations of Abuse in Family Court

Litigation and Evaluation involving Abuse Allegations in Family Court Cases (LEFCC) is a grant subsidized innovative specialized training for legal professionals (family court lawyers, judges, GALs, etc.) and mental health professionals (expert witnesses, child custody evaluators, etc.) sponsored by the Professional Consortium on Abuse Allegations in Family Court. Applications required. 2.5 days.
